Tool Lateralus Eye Tattoo

Sorry for being so absent the past few months. University has had me up to my neck with work as I try take one step closer to finishing my physics degree. Unfortunately I haven't had time to do much artwork in that time .

Just to show you that I'm not dead, here's a photo of my first tattoo that I had done during Reading Week in February. Tool has been, and continues to be, extremely important influence in my life in terms of my musical development and motivation for how I want to pursue life ("Push the envelope. Watch it bend."). I couldn't think of any better way to commemorate that than having a piece of Alex Grey's work from my favourite album. I know it's not exactly an original tattoo but I still love it.

This picture was taken the evening I had it done (February 17). I'll try to get a healed photo up sometime soon as well.
